Innovativo nei suoi brani, gli Snow Patrol, mantengono un filo conduttore con il passato, pur variegando con i suoni e le melodie in ambiti sino a qui sconosciuti.Da considerare forse uno degli albm più belli insieme a Eyes Open (2006) ed a Final Straw (2003)Album spettacolare! Adoro tutti gli album degli Snow Patrol ma questo dimostra un passo avanti in termini di maturità artistica. Da ascoltare assolutamente.Bel discoFabulous Snow Patrol yet again, this deluxe version has 5 great pure versions of my fav tracks. The album in my option is the best that Gary Lightbody has written, he is a genius and of course the rest of the band are talented musicians aswell! It's a very personal album and speaks from the heart. Love it!!!!!!LJCAs a Snow Patrol fan I was very impressed with this album.A very mature album, once again wonderfully produced.Lightbody's lyrics are as always very evocative with an emotional edge to his voice that really connects.The bonus tracks detract a little bit from the overall quality of the album. Snow Patrol have always been a product of the sum of its parts, Lightbody's lyrics, the rest of the band's musical prowess and the wonderful Jacknife Lee production. The more stripped down accoustic sound doesnt really work for me, personal preference of course.All in all a fantastic album to be revisited again and again.A return to form, great tracks on here such as Life on earth, Don’t give in, Empress, Soon. Great to have a new Snow Patrol album to enjoy. Best album since Eyes Open.Not a bad CD. The first four songs were brilliant and the alternate version of Heal Me was better than the original version. The rest of the songs aren't bad but I wouldn't get overjoyed about them. They could have done better had they left out the profanity. Overall, it's not a bad CD.Very good lyrics, but the anthemic mastery they provided in the past has gone and the direction become too introspective. The band is still tight as lycra shorts but I do hope they'll feel better soon, now they've returned home.
