Mega è una scheda di sviluppo per microcontrollori. Dispone di 54 set di terminali di ingresso/uscita I/O digitali (14 set per uscita PWM), 16 set di terminali di ingresso analogici, 4 set di UART (porte seriali hardware) e utilizza un oscillatore a cristallo da 16 MHz.

Usa il boot loader per scaricare il programma direttamente tramite USB, senza altri writer esterni.
Fornire alcune fonti di alimentazione USB opzionali o utilizzare adattatori AC-DC e batterie come fonti di alimentazione esterne.
Lo sviluppo dell'interfaccia IDE si basa su principi open source, che consentono di scaricare liberamente per lavori di progetto, insegnamento scolastico, controllo motorio e lavori interattivi.
Il driver A4988 è la scheda portante o breakout board del driver micro-stepping DMOS A4988 di Allegro, con un convertitore e protezione da sovracorrente Pololu;
Questo driver per motore passo-passo consente di controllare un motore passo-passo bipolare con una corrente di uscita fino a 2 A per bobina.
